About Me

Born and raised in Hong Kong, I spent 16 years in the US before returning home—bringing together my Cantonese roots and a love for Western, healthy living. My journey includes founding a catering company in Denver, working in hospitality sales and marketing, and guiding global brands as an entrepreneur and creative strategist. While I’m not a professional chef, feeding and entertaining friends, family, and large groups is my passion (and my forte!).

Cantonese food has always been my comfort zone, but as I’ve entered my 40s, I realized that traditional recipes don’t always sit well with my body. That’s why I’m passionate about transforming classic Canto dishes—using modern technology and wellness-driven cooking methods—into meals that today’s families can enjoy and pass down to the next generation. I love nothing more than entertaining at home with my favorite people—keeping it cozy, casual, and lively. There’s something magical about eating with your fingers, getting a little messy, and letting go, instead of dressing up for an uptight, expensive meal that often disappoints. For me, food is about sharing precious moments, creating real connections, and never showing off—just celebrating the joy of being together. YLO Kitchen is a place to share reimagined comfort food, real stories, and inspiration for living well, supported by a community that values fun and authenticity above all.
