Lemon Mint Green Smoothie

Perfect for breakfast, post-workout, or an afternoon pick-me-up, it offers a cool, tangy flavor that leaves you feeling light and revitalized — a true guilt-free green power drink!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Green Apple seeded
  • ¼ frozen Lemon with peel seeded
  • 1 cup of whole fresh mint leaves with stems
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar substitute
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 cup of water

Equipment

  • Blender / Smoothie Maker
  • Knife & Cutting Board
  • Measuring Cups & Spoons
  • Juicer (Optional)
  • Glass / Mason Jar

Instructions
 

  1. Wash and cut the lemons into quarters, removing the seeds, and then freeze them overnight.
  2. Wash and remove the hard part of the mint stems and freeze into 1 cup portions. If you prefer to use fresh, it’s also ok. I just never can used up my mint, so I freeze it for later use.
  3. Dice one green apple, skin on, seed and core removed.
  4. Choose your favourite sugar substitute for this, as it will make a significant difference in taste.
  5. Blend everything and drink it immediately.
  6. Getting all these vegetables and fruits in the morning can be challenging, especially you are in a hurry for work. But blending them into an ice-cold smoothie makes it delicious and easy to meet your daily fiber intake.
