- Wash and cut the lemons into quarters, removing the seeds, and then freeze them overnight.
- Wash and remove the hard part of the mint stems and freeze into 1 cup portions. If you prefer to use fresh, it's also ok. I just never can used up my mint, so I freeze it for later use.
- Dice one green apple, skin on, seed and core removed.
- Choose your favourite sugar substitute for this, as it will make a significant difference in taste.
- Blend everything and drink it immediately.
- Getting all these vegetables and fruits in the morning can be challenging, especially you are in a hurry for work. But blending them into an ice-cold smoothie makes it delicious and easy to meet your daily fiber intake.
