Sesame Prawns Spring Rolls

Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or party finger food, these spring rolls deliver a satisfying balance of crunchy exterior and juicy, savory filling, ideal for family meals or festive gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g fresh prawns minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup cilantro chopped
  • 14 pieces of rice paper
Garnish:
  • 1 ½ tablespoons of sesame seeds
  • 1 egg for egg wash
Dippiing sauce:
  • 3 tablespoons of Light Mayo
  • 1 tablespoon of Siracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowls
  • Chopping Board & Knife
  • Frying Pan / Wok
  • Tongs or Slotted Spoon
  • Plate or Tray
  • Brush

Instructions
 

Sauce:
  1. Total Calories: 127, Protein 1g, Carbs 6g, Fat 11g
  2. Clean and devain prawns.
  3. Smash and minced prawns until fine.
  4. Add seasoning, cilantry and mix well.
  5. Throw the mixture into the mixing bowl a few times to remove excess air and improve the overall texture of the prawn paste.
  6. Dip rice paper into cold water thoroughly and place on a chopping board.
  7. Spread about one tablespoon of filling onto the rice paper.
  8. Roll it like a cigar thinly and lightly brush it with egg wash.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  10. Spray the Airfryer or sheet pan with oil spray, place the shrimp rolls on top, and then spray again with oil.
  11. Toast for 20-25mins at 180C until golden and crispy.
