Stir-Fry Kimchi & Pork

Perfect as a main dish served with steamed rice, this recipe balances the richness of pork with the tangy zest of kimchi, delivering a hearty and satisfying meal. Ideal for quick weeknight dinners or casual Korean-inspired feasts.

Ingredients
  

  • 300 g Pork Shoulder Sliced
  • 2 stems of Leeks chopped
  • 1 Cup of Kimchi
  • 2 tablespoons of Gochujang
Pork Marinade:
  • 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoons white pepper
  • 1 teaspoons of dried garlic
  • Optional: 2 cups of Rice cakes

Equipment

  • Wok or Large Frying Pan
  • Mixing Bowls
  • Knife & Cutting Board
  • Measuring Spoons / Cups
  • Serving Plate / Bowl

Instructions
 

  1. Thinly slice pork and marinade for 2 hours.
  2. In a hot pan, spray pan with olive oil.
  3. Sautee pork until golden brown and add chopped leeks.
  4. Add Kim chi, Gochujang, rice cake and a cup of water.
  5. Mix well and let it cook for 10 minutes until sauce is thickened.
  6. Serve over rice and enjoy.
